I spent nearly 30 years in the banking industry over seeing and setting up over 1,100 New and Used Car, Boat, Yacht, RV, Motorcycle, and more, dealers in 5 states! My experience leads me to say that both new and used dealers have a well-earned reputation for shadiness, high-pressure sales tactics, and predatory high-risk financing. That reputation isn’t fair to all dealers though. Many are just trying to make a living providing a service to buyers who need dependable transportation but can’t afford a new car. Part of the reason used-car dealers may seem shady is because selling used cars is a tricky proposition for dealers, too. During their time on the road, cars encounter millions of potential hazards ranging from abuse to neglect, including accidents, flooding, overloading, encounters with potholes, and often a chronic lack of maintenance. A good used-car dealer’s job is to set those problems right before reselling the car – and to turn a profit in the process. That can be a tall order for many used car lots, which get last dibs at used-car auctions and so get stuck with the oldest and riskiest inventory. Original new-car dealers usually keep the trade-ins that are in the best condition. The next best go to brand-name dealership auctions only. Only cars that haven’t been skimmed off by then make it to the public auctions open to ordinary used-car lots.
The cars that are left are usually older and more likely to have their share of problems. The key is to find a dealer that can recognizes those problems and is adept at addressing them quickly and affordably. A dealer that has a special knowledge of or interest in automobiles in general but more specifically has a passion and drive to seek out and fined the best of the best automobiles where ever they maybe!

I purchased my 2006 Jaguar XK Victory Edition a little over a year ago and I’m just now writing this review and I can say without hesitation or reservation
Val is the best car dealer (new or used) that I have ever had the pleasure of doing business with both professionally as well as personally! Everything he said, represented, and disclosed was not only factual but was backed up with pictures, and/or verified documentation!
I have never purchased anything of any significant value over the internet and I was extremely nervous and cautious with Val at the start but over the 3 weeks it took to close the deal, and transport my Jaguar from Apex, North Carolina to Henderson, Kentucky ~
Val put each and every concern I had to rest and he made my dream car purchase the most exciting and pleasurable automobile purchase experience
I have ever had in my life! Val is a man of the utmost integrity, honesty, trust, kindness and transparency ... a man that I would highly recommend doing business with and you can take that to the bank!
